EXT. WOODED GREEN - DAY
The music video starts off in an exterior environment in a wooded area where there are lots of trees and nice walkways. A boy is introduced through various shots of him on a bike however his face is blurred out making it more mysterious.
CUT TO:
INT. HOUSE - DAY
The scene cuts to a flashback of the boy at home and it shows him wearing a smart suit with a brief case. There are various shots of him playing poker.
A girl comes into the house and is seen to be angry at the boy. He then hits her/shouts at her. The boy is shown to have a bottle in his hand implying he has drinking problems as well as gambling.
CUT TO:
EXT. WOODED GREEN - DAY
The scene cuts back to present day. There are various more shots of the boy riding his bike. He is shown to leave his bike in the road with the tyre spinning. The shot shows the boy walking off into the woods.
CUT TO:
INT. HOUSE - DAY
The scene cuts back to another flashback at the house again. The flashback shows yet again the boys drunken state with him being passed out on the sofa. It also shows him arguing with the girl.
CUT TO:
EXT. WOODED GREEN - DAY
The boy is in the woods looking at a tree. There is a close-up shot of him running his hand over a engraving on a tree implying he made it with a girl seen as there is two letters and a heart.
CUT TO:
EXT. WOODED GREEN - DAY
The height of the song comes here, this shot is another cut to a flashback. It shows the boy and the girl making the engraving in a tree. There are various different shots of this as well as shots of them having a good time and smiling.
CUT TO:
EXT. WOODED GREEN - DAY
The final shot of the music video shows the boys legs dangling from a tree implying he has taken his own life.
