During our lesson with Pat we did an idea generation task in conjunction with our pre-production work for our latest music video which we are going to produce. We had to pick three songs in our groups of three and then sum up every song with a word. We then shared all the words in the class. After this we picked someone else's word for their song and made a montage of two images which we associate with the word. I chose the word power. Below are the two images I chose which I thought people associate with power.
After we had made a montage of someone's word in the class summarising their music video choice we then had to pick within our groups two of the three candidate music videos we would potentially shoot for out video. The two candidate music videos we chose which would be in the running are shown below. After we had picked out two we then had to summarise that music video in one word and then make a montage of it out of the word we described it with.
Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
The first out of two potential music videos we chose was Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol and the word that we decided sums up this song is love.

Mumford and Sons - Little Lion Man
The second music video option we chose was Little Lion Man by Mumford and Sons and the word which we decided best describes Little Lion Man is regret.

Feedback
After we had made our two montages of two potential song choices we then pitched to the rest of the class our two montages and what the basis of the narrative could be. After we pitched both songs and the class got to hear a small verse of the song we then got given feedback on what the class' individual preference would be on song choice. The overall feedback was that they preferred Little Lion Man. As a result of these comments this is the song we have decided to do for our music video. Below is the class feedback.
